Under18 Girl's Trialists

Players nominated to participate in under 18 girls football training sessions
commencing on Tuesday 27 July at 6pm at the Southland Boys High School gym
leading up to the selection of a tournament team are:

League competition - unlimited rolling subs can be used but must be
made at the stoppage of play and the referee must be advised

Points to note:

a)      CLUB TRANSFER PAPER WORK TO BE AT SOUTHLAND FOOTBALL OFFICE
5PM THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE GAME

b)     CLUB REGISTRATION TO BE AT SOUTHLAND FOOTBALL OFFICE
5PM THURSDAY FOLLOWING THE GAME

c)      TEAM CARDS TO BE FILLED OUT AND HANDED INTO THE OFFICE AT RUGBY PARK BY
5PM THURSDAY FOLLOWING THE GAME

d)   HOME  TEAM TO REFEREE GAME IF APPOINTED REFEREE DOES NOT MAKE IT TO GAME

 


SOUTHLAND WOMEN’S FOOTBALL

END OF SEASON KNOCKOUT CUP
Standard soccer rules apply, the home team is

named first and shall supply the ref, nets and flags.

 

The games are 40minutes each way with 5minutes for half time with rolling subs. 
If games are drawn at the end of play, there will be10 minutes each way of extra time and if games are still

tied they will be decided by a penalty shootout.
Penalty shootout rules require only players on the field at the end of play to be used.
The 10 players to be listed in order of kicking with first five to compete for a result best of five then if tied it is sudden death between individual players of the other five.

 

If you win the first week you will go through to the cup section and if you lose you will go through to the plate section, then it will be knockout from then on, giving us two finals. 
The two games at Sandy Point are one side of the draw and the O’Rorke Park games are on the other side.
Winton and Queenstown will have home games in the second round.
Finals will be played at Sandy Point, Plate at 12.30pm, Cup at 1pm.
