JUNIOR WANDERERS TO LET LOOSE

Go ahead Gore Wanderers rolled out its Junior Wanderers club at a function in the club rooms on Friday April 27th.


A section of the good sized crowd that gathered for the opening night.

A goodly crowd attended the night and it was announced that it will field 4 teams in the Southland Junior competition.


The coaching staff from left to right:
Les Garrity, Pete vanLoon, Barbara Campbell, Balla Traore,
Hermes Hein, Barry Hamlin, Greig Anderson and Ian Baker

Organiser Ian Baker started and MC'd proceedings, and club chairman Paul Hodge gave the opening address.

Ian then introduced Southland Development Officer Ken Cresswell who congratulated the club and
offered its players best wishes for the future on behalf of Southland Soccer (inc').

Westpac Bank - Gore has supplied Drink Bottles for two teams and will continue to supply drink bottles
each season to new club members at eleventh grade level.

A really delicious supper was served by Coral and friends to cap off a great evening....well done Wanderers.
